Our Story

The Meeting

Alexis walked into the weekly Contact Improv jam in Manhattan one Saturday in September, 2007 and saw someone new (Adam) already dancing in the space and felt curious. After dancing together in NYC a few times, Alexis and Adam ended up at Earthdance for the Falling Leaves jam. Over the next several years of long distance traveling back and forth between Boulder and NYC, our connection only grew stronger.

Wedding Number 1

It's hard to say when we decided to get married - but over the past seven years, we decided that we are one another's family. We celebrated our commitment in a private, (surprise) ceremony at Flagstaff Amphitheater September 28, 2011. We decided that we needed to include our family and friends in the celebration after we both lived in the same location. That finally happened in June, 2014. We are excited to share our happiness and love with our friends and family!
