Getting to Boulder County

Boulder is North of Denver, Colorado, around 45 minutes from Denver International Airport

Flying

If you are flying in from out of state, it makes the most sense to fly in to the Denver International Airport (DIA) in Denver, Colorado. From there, you can rent a car and drive up on 36 West to Boulder (or Broomfield, or Longmont, or Lafayette). Google maps will try to send you on 420 (aka Northwest Parkway), but it is a tollway. You don't need to take it unless you are hitting rush hour and think you are about to miss the wedding.

Bus from DIA

AB buses run from DIA to Boulder hourly, with stops at Broomfield (near the Renaissance Flatiron Hotel), Superior, and several stops in Boulder. The cost of the trip to or from the airport is $13 or $6.50 for senior citizens. You will need exact change. At the airport, look for signs for the RTD bus (on the 5th level - same as baggage check). Your bus is the AB bus to Boulder.

Car Rental

You can get good deals on car rental from DIA. Our friend, Adina, just told us that she used Priceline and got a car from DIA for $20/day! (thanks, Adina!)
